Source date: 4 November 2026
Indian manufacturer Indore Composite has opened a new composites production facility in Halol, Gujarat, with a reported investment of INR 3 billion (approximately EUR 33 million). The project targets growing demand for carbon- and glass-fibre composite components in wind energy and electrical power transmission.
The 35-acre site includes a first-phase building of around 300,000 square feet. According to the company, its investment covers advanced pultrusion equipment, AI-enabled manufacturing systems and a dedicated research and development centre. More than 600 jobs are expected to be created.
Industry perspective: The expansion signals additional manufacturing investment in continuous-fibre composite profiles for infrastructure and energy applications. It does not, by itself, establish new output capacity, qualification status or commercial delivery volumes; those details were not specified in the announcement.
