National Manufacturing Group Acquires A-1 Fiberglass to Expand US FRP Production

National Manufacturing Group has acquired Nebraska-based A-1 Fiberglass, expanding its US manufacturing network for custom-moulded fibre-reinforced plastic products. The transaction was announced by the group on 2 November 2026.
The buyer also operates in thermoformed plastics and metal fabrication. It expects the acquisition to add FRP production capacity, improve workload flexibility and extend its reach among original equipment manufacturers in the central United States.
The financial terms and quantified additional FRP capacity were not disclosed. The acquisition is a manufacturing consolidation development rather than evidence of an immediate, measured increase in industry-wide composite output.
